About a year ago, Samsung unveiled the Smartthings Family Care, which is older people in the care of caring people. Today, the company has announced an update for family care, making it more convenient using the service. Family care has also now been available in more than 200 countries around the world since its initial projection.
With updates, family care can be easily installed by strangers by using applications. Careers just send an invitation link that includes simple guided steps to join the service.
Update allows families to reflect their personal preferences and circumstances, more clearly define the roles of care and care recipient. Care recipients can choose what information they want to share, and the careers can quickly succeed all the required details within those boundaries.
From now on, if a family care is found that a care recipient has not used some devices such as refrigerators or TVs for an extended period, he will warn cargivers to ask them to investigate with the care recipient. After that they can immediately call the person in question, or enable the Samsung Robot vacuum registered with a built-in camera to check the situation remotely. Inactivity warning intervals can of course customize in one’s choice.
If care recipients use the Samsung Health App, carers can see details such as wake-up times, badtimes and daily step counts.
With the consent of care recipients, carers can register essential locations such as hospitals, pharmacies, supermarkets and cultural sites to keep an eye on their visit history, real-time routes and current whereabouts, helping to ensure their safety when they are out. This feature can also be used for children’s journey to school and from there.
Careers also have the ability to set up an important event reminders for care recipients, such as regular health checks, hospital appointments, drug schedules and family gatherings. These reminders will then be sent to both the career and the care recipient at the stipulated time.
Family Care is available on Android 11 or new Samsung smartphones, with at least 3GB of RAM. All registered devices should be done by Samsung and support for smartths.
