Samsung’s Mobile Experience (MX) Business Head, TM Roh, will take new duties as the acting head of the Department of Device Experience (DX). He takes from Han Jong-Hi, who died last week.
Some other officials are also taking new roles. Win-June Choi was appointed as COO of the MX Division and will continue to serve as the head of the R&D Office Fiss and the Global Operation Team of MX Division. Cheoulgie Kim was named as the head of the business of digital devices.
In addition, Samsung Electronics appointed Mauro Porsini as the President and the Chief Design Officer. Porcini previously worked on Pepsi and 3M. “With the addition of Mr. Porcini, Samsung Electronics plans to strengthen its design capabilities in all business areas, including mobile, TV and home appliances,” read in a press release.
