Samsung has just unveiled its Galaxy XR glasses in partnership with Google and Qualcomm. The South Korean tech giant has also confirmed that it is working on several other wearable XR form factors, including AI glasses.
In a press release, Samsung announced collaborations with Google and lifestyle eyewear brands Warby Parker and Gentle Monster for upcoming AI glasses.
The company has not revealed what the AI glasses will be called or provided any details on when the glasses will be unveiled. According to a recent report, Samsung will launch its AI glasses in 2026.
Samsung’s upcoming AI glasses will be built on Android XR and offer seamless connectivity with other XR devices. The wearable will take on rivals like the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses.
