The next Galaxy Unpacked is this Wednesday, July 9. It will be held in Brooklyn, New York and will be livestream on Samsung’s site and YouTube. The event is set to begin with 14:00 UTC.
Foldables and clocks incoming
The Galaxy Unpacked event in the middle of Samsung’s year is focused on the upcoming pay generation of foldables, but also brings a new smartwatch. This year, we are waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 7 Foldable Family and Galaxy VCH 8, VCH WH 8 Classic and Watch Ch 8 Ultra.
Let’s look closely at everyone.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 promises a “ultra” experience, though it will not be such branded. The phone is expected to feature 200MP main cameras (like S22 Ultra and Z Fold Special Edition). However, other cameras will be mostly the same as -10MP telephoto and 12MP ultra-wide. There will be 10MP on two selfie camera cover displays and 4MP under-display module inside. Samsung has taught AI features for the camera as AI is a large part of the Galaxy identity.

With this pay general, the Z fold has been focused on slimming – Samsung says it will still be the thinner and light horizontal foldable. It is yet to be officially confirmed of the parameters, but the rumor indicates that 8.9 mm folded and 4.2 mm revealed and 215g. We have heard numbers as low as 9.9 mm, but this may be a question of which part is measured. For comparison, Z fold 6 12.1 mm and 5.6 mm, weighing 239 g, so this is a major redesign. The Z Fold Special Edition is also 10.6 mm and 4.9 mm. Note that this measure does not include camera island.

However, a thin build comes at a price – the phone will have the same 4,400mAh battery capacity as its predecessor. The EU Energy Label has announced that this will be enough for 40 hours and 28 minutes on the same charge, a little longer than the S2 edge. The battery will go at least 2,000 charge cycles before reducing its original capacity at 80%.
The label also showed that Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have IP48 dust and water resistance rating, which is no longer the top specs for foldable. It will have excellent drop resistance and average repairs.
The chipset is no surprise – we have already seen a foldable run geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Allight for the Galaxy. We think it will be equipped with 12 GB RAM and will have three storage tires: 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB. The leaked price shows that the base model will be around 2,200 and 512 GB options € 2,300 – it is an increase of $ 200 compared to the previous model. Of course, the Pre-Order Rider Percus will probably include a free storage upgrade.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be available in three colors, blue shadow, silver shadow and jet black, plus many colors that will be specific to units sold by Samsung.com.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 7 Fe
There are concerns about increasing costs, so Samsung is expected to fold a cheap flip this year, which will borrow many of its designs from last year’s Z Flip 6.
The premium model will be the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7. Compared to its predecessor’s “folder” -14 “exhibition, it will also be thin, it will also be thin, folded 13.7 mm and 6.5 mm with 188g. For comparison, the 2024 model measured 14.9 mm and 6.9 mm and weighs 187 g.
Better, Z Flip 7 will have a larger battery – 4,300 mAh, which is 300 mAh more than Z Flip 6 and Fe. The Fe model has the possibility of dimensions such as Z Flip 6.

Z Flip 7 will be available in Jet Black, Blue Shadow and Coral Red (plus some Samsung dot com), while the FE will have a more basic color palette of black and white. You can see the render above, which also shows the difference in the cover display.
Both models will also be different in processing power – we think the Samsung Premium Z Flip 7 will put a brand new exemption, though the Snapdragon 8 Allight Virtual will be sold in North America and China. Meanwhile the Z Flip 7 FE was benchmarked with the old Exynos 2400. According to the two benchmark results there was only 8 GB of RAM and will be provided with 128 GB and 256 GB storage. Premium Z Flip 7 will have more RAM, 12GB and storage, 256/512 GB.
Samsung will introduce a new UI 8 (based on Android 16) with new Z foldables. That said, the Galaxy S25 units are already doing beta tests.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 carried approximately 4,400/£ 1,200 for the 512GB unit, which is € 100 more than 512 GB Z Flip 6 last year. Speaking of Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fannie, it will be 1 million KRW in Korea, which will probably translate $ 800/€ 800/£ 700.
Pre-order and release dates
Samsung usually puts new models on the pre-order only after the unpacked event is over and waits two weeks before going to open sale. That means that the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 7 will be available for pre-order from July 9 and will be released on July 25 (the release is traditionally on Friday). Galaxy
Samsung is expected to display the Tri-Fold smartphone at an unpacked event this Wednesday, which is said to have 6.49 “cover and 9.96” main display. However, this can have a very limited availability – leaks suggest that they will only be sold in two countries, Korea and China, and only a very limited number at that time.

The Tri-Fold Model appeared in a UI8 code, indicating that it is a real product instead of just a prototype to show at the event. However, most people will have to wait until next year if they want a Galaxy Tri-Foldable. And considering the price hike for Z Fold 7, we think it is best if you don’t ask how much this will cost (we know it).
Samsung Galaxy VCH Ch 8, VCH C 8 Classic and VCH WH 8 Ultra
Samsung introduced the “squirrel” design for the original Galaxy VCH Ch Ultra and is now ready to adopt the whole Watch Ch 8 family. Here are the three upcoming models rendered: Galaxy VCH Ch 8, VCH C 8 Classic and VCH WCH 8 Ultra.

As you can see from the render, there is a sparse (1.5 “screen surrounded by the ultra) and the crown. Vanilla V Watch Ch 8 has only two buttons. The ultra model also has a crown, but we do not think its bezel is moving.
There will be no new smartwatch chipset this year, all three models are expected to use Exynos W1000 from last year. The first two should be available in Bluetooth and 4G variables, while the ultra base Bluetooth variant is likely to be left and available with only 4G.
A new OS version is also coming to Samsung’s Werable, a UI 8 watch. It will focus on health with things like bed time guidance, vascular loads and anti -Ox captive features, plus advanced running coaches.
A UI 8 View Facilities
The Galaxy VCH Ch 8 will have a slightly larger battery than its predecessor, a small 10mAh bump on a 44mm variable. VCH Ch 8 and V WCH 8 will support the classic 10W charging, which is similar to the previous models.
By the way, Samsung Galaxy VCH Watch Ch 8 was selling classic prototypes on eBay. It was a 46mm LTE model with 64GB of storage – it is twice as much as Watch Ch 7 and VCH WCH U Ultra.
