Free storage upgrades are a normal perk that offers during the Samsung pre-order. It’s long behind the S2 series, but Samsung decided to bring us back.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra with 512 GB storage costs $ 1,300 – it is an MSRP of the 256 GB model. Similarly, the 1 TB model is $ 1,420, which usually costs 512 GB.
You can reduce those prices to $ 900 with trade-in. You can get a lot for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, a Z Fold 6 and a Z Fold 5. The S23 Ultra is worth 50 750. Note that Samsung will include a little store credit ($ 80 for 512GB model and $ 60 for 1 TB) you can use for future purchases.
The Samsung Galaxy S 25+ has an almost free storage upgrade – the base 256GB model costs $ 1000, but you can only have a 512GB phone for $ 20 more. Trade-in-offers fats can reduce the price of $ 700, how much you get for the old S4+, while the S23+ can get $ 600.
Note that if you have Samsung credit stored with a previous purchase, you can apply it to a storage upgrade. You can do the same for S 25 Ultra and Vanilla S25.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 also has a almost free storage upgrade – the 256GB model is just $ 10 higher than the 128GB version. With trade-in, you can get $ 500 for your old S24 or $ 400 for your S23.
Again, you can use the old Samsung credit for that $ 10 difference. If you need help in deciding between these two, check our Galaxy S25 vs S 25+ article.
