Samsung announced last month Exynos 2500 SOC, which is used in the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 which was sold yesterday. The Korean Brand has not yet announced anything about the Exynos 2600 SOC, but thanks to the Geekbench, we know what to expect from Samsung’s next flagship chip.
Samsung Engineering device with model designation S5E 9965 has been spotted on a geekbench with 2600 chip. It is a decka-core CPU like the Excenos 2500, but with a different arrangement. We are looking for a 1+3+6 configuration, a single prime core 3.55 GHz, three performance cores running at 2.96 GHz and six functionality operating at a clock frequency of 2.46 GHz. The graphics section is powered by Samsung’s Exclips 960 GPU.
The 12GB of RAM with Android 16 was on the engineering device operated by the Exynos 2600 SOC. He scored 2,155 and 7,788 points in the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, respectively.
In comparison, the Exynos 2500 -powered Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 scored 2,099 and 7,433 points in our Geekbench test, but Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 all -powered Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 2,910 and 9,152 points.

Before you go to any conclusion, you need to remember: 1) Exynos 2600 SOC is still under development and its CPU clock speed is unlikely to be final; 2) The final version of the chip used in retail devices will probably perform better.

Bloom It is reported that Samsung is evaluating the use of both Qualcomm and its own chips for the Galaxy S26 series, which is expected to arrive next January. We can see Samsung going with the Exynos 2600 for the Galaxy S26, while the undisclosed Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will be used for the Galaxy S26 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Edge. The latter is asked to replace the plus model in the lineup.
