Sony unveiled its recent flagship smartphone, Xperia 1 VII in May, and is already available in Japan for a while. However, today the company has announced that it is temporarily postponing shipments and devices sales in its home market.

This is due to many reports of the Xperia 1 VII units, they close by themselves, rebooting messy, and not even turned on. Naturally, they are a big problem in any one of the three individually, but apparently they are all happening in the wild.

Sony SOFTWARE PLAUT WAIGE CLOSED SELLING Xperia 1 VII to correct problems

Those who have Xperia 1 VII that will not turn on, Sony suggests hold both the power button and the volume up button for about 20 seconds to achieve it, and then apply the latest SOFTWARE FTWARE Update. If it does not help, Sony is advising people to contact their support staff.

Interestingly, Sony suggests that the latest update will fix problems, even in the same page, says it is still investigating them. So probably SOFTWARE FTWARE Update is more precautionary thing, and not a real settlement. We will tell you how this situation develops.
