Overall, Sony WH -1000xm6 is well -built and comfortable to be worn. In my opinion, the folding feature is somewhat overrated, though eventually it comes in personal choice.

Sony WH 1000xm6 uses the Sony Sound Connect app on iOS and Android. An application called Sony Headphones Connect, has been indispensable for many years for Sony wireless headphones.
I personally find the app very bloated and spoiled; For example, I constantly forget the specific settings that I turned on or off (such as a Speak-to-Chat). On a fresh installation, the app guides the user through cumbersome, improper tutorials and other initial setup steps until they can successfully. Lately, Sony seems to have removed some impractical features, such as badges under the hearing activity TAB.
At the same time, they have introduced “scenes”, which allow users to customize headphone behavior such as switching or closing at a certain time of day or place. Arguably, such a feature is useful, although some consider it unnecessary, looking at how easy it is to keep headphones on or off or control. A familiar feature of the previous models is an adaptive sound control, which automatically switches between ANC and ambient mode based on user activity. Personally, I do not use adaptive sound control or speak-to-chat, as I struggle to hear people speak clearly in ambient mode. So, I just remove the headset while communicating.

Sony has introduced hearing status in the application, which is specific to the Wh-1000xm6. There is a choice between “standard”, “background music” and “cinema”. “Background Music” adjusts the sound to simulate a distant environment, such as a living room or cafe. Microphone
The Sony WH-1000xm6 is equipped with a six-microphone AI-based beamiforming system that separates your voice and filters background noise. But the microphone remains unusual, especially in noisy environments, especially public transport. Delay and connection
