Next to MWC, Techno announced Spark Slim, the world’s thinest smartphone. Only 5.75 mm thick, it has two 50MP cameras and a powerful 5,200mAh battery.
A significant warning to this declaration is that the phone is just a concept – no information related to the launch date is available. When the company has demo units in MWC, we are unlikely to see it in the market in its current form.
Spark Slim has a 6.78 “curved edge with an AMOLED display, with a 1224P resolution and supports a 144 Hz refresh rate. It achieves the top brightness of 4,500 NIT and includes a 13MP front-facing camera.
The battery is 4.04 mm thick and supports up to 45W fast charging. Although the camera bump adds a little thickness, this is still an impressive compact device.
Techno has not declared a chipset for Spark Slim, just saying that it has an octa-core CPU. We do not expect a flagship-level platform, as it will require an advanced cooling system, which simply cannot fit in this size.
Spark will be introduced to MWC in Slim Barcelona. We plan to participate in Congress and spend some time with it and tell you how it goes.
