A few days ago the Ice Universe (or recently by the Ice Ice Cat), which is the famous Chinese liqueur, shares 9.9 mm when folded on the next Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 – 9.9 mm. It will make it foldable of the thinest book-style, while beating the current king, Oppo’s N5, which is 2.5 mm thick.
Today it is returned with the full dimensions of fold 7, which is said to be 158.4 x 143.1 x 3.9 mm when it emerged. Compared to its predecessor, it is ler and wide, and of course thin. It apparently also defeats the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which was so far Samsung’s thin foldable.
According to the same source, the bezel of the internal folding screen will also be thin. The following is a bezel of fold 6 in the picture, which is allegedly measuring 1.9 mm. Fold 7 will instead take up to 1 mm, while the flip 7’s bezel will be 1.2 mm.
So with all this, it seems that Samsung has finally noted that its Chinese competitors have really beaten it when it comes to the thin of foldable device, and really decided to compete on this spec. Unfortunately, the battery capacity in fold 7, like its predecessor, will have 4,400 mAh similar to the battery capacity – maybe we have to wait another year for Samsung to get that memo.
