Only at 8.8 mm, the edge of the Galaxy S22 is Samsung’s thinnest phone to date, and its thin profile has naturally concerned about some durability. We now have a drop test courtesy PBKRYVWhich shows that he can handle a few drops and fights but not as well as his bulky brothers.
Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 screen tolerates cracks after the very first drop, though it is operational. Then the titanium frame takes a few fights in the next disturbance, but there is no structural damage yet. The third drop develops 2 glass backs and the main camera also bends to the sensor, but the phone is still fully operational.
