In early November, the Oppo A5 Pro was certified by TENAA for sale in China, and now it’s almost time for its official unveiling. This will happen on December 24 at a special event in China.
In anticipation of the grand reveal, Oppo is teasing the device, showing us its three colors: Quartz White, Rock Black and Sandstone Purple.

The company has also released a teaser video for the A5 Pro, which suggests that it will be a very durable handset. This makes us think that it probably has IP68 or IP69 certification for dust and water resistance – or both. This is very trendy with Chinese smartphone brands lately. For what it’s worth, the A3 Pro launched back in June came with an IP54 rating, so this would be a definite step up.
As per the above certification, the Oppo A5 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ screen, 8/12GB RAM, 256/512GB storage, a 50 MP main rear camera flanked by a 2 MP decorative sensor and a 16. MP selfie snapper.
