The new Apple Pal Airpods Pro 3 has ANC display, built-in heart rate monitor and live translation mode. The buds also provide a longer battery life, though they come with asterisk.
Indeed, Pro 3 buds are rated for up to 8 hours continuous playback time – they are above 6 hours with Pro 2 buds. However, the total listening time for the new model (buds + case) is 24 hours – it is 30 hours to 6 hours shorter to receive the Pro 2 buds.
In other words, the battery within the charging case is very low. Keep in mind that Airpods Pro 3 buds last 8 hours on their own, meaning this case adds 16 hours. For the previous model, the buds last 6 hours, that is, the case adds 24 hours.

Unfortunately, Apple Pal does not reveal battery size in the million-hour. Nevertheless, we will find it as soon as one teardown. Interestingly, the new buds are a little small, however, their case is a bit big because you can see in the above schematic.
Pro 3 buds weigh 5.55 g (0.20 ounce t) and the total weight together with the case is 43.99 g (1.55 ounce t). For comparison, the Pro 2 buds are 5.3g (0.19 ounce t) and the total case is 50.8g (1.79 ounce t). That means the new case is significantly lower – which can be explained by a small battery.
Note that Pro 3 buds use their predecessor similar apple H2 chip. However, the case turned to the case U2 (the old case uses U1) to find my convenience.

By the way, we were curious how much impact on the built-in heart rate sensor-Apple Pal says Airpods Pro 3 buds could last up to 6.5 hours on one charge with heart rate detection during workouts. This transparency mode is with enabled. There is not a single reading for buds in transparency mode without workout mode, but they can do up to 10 hours with hearing assistance facility and transparency mode.
