Acer smartphone is returning to the world, and today we learned the first two devices that will launch on March 25. They are called Acerpure Eseron Liquid S162E4 and Acerpure Eseron Liquid S272E4, and yes, these are real names.
Both devices contain entry-level specs, including a six-year-old chipset by MediaTek.

The device will have a waterdrop notch for 6.5 “LCD and selfie cameras with HD+ resolution. The chipset is Hellio P35, which is connected to 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. The rear camera has a 16MP sensor, while the front-fasing shooter will stable 5 MPs.
The phone packs 5,000 mAh battery and USB-C port. We know that OS will be Android 14, and the phone will also have FM radio, Bluetooth and a hybrid dual nano SIM slot.
S162E4 will only be in one color – blue. The power key is below the volume rocker on the right, and it looks like it will double as a fingerprint scanner due to its flat surface. We still have to learn the price but believe it will be below $ 100, which is not more than INR 9,000.
Acerpure Asoron Liquid S272E4
Here, HD+ resolution and waterdrop notch are behind the 5MP camera behind the LCD 6.74, in the diagonal. Talking about the camera, the rear dual combo includes 20 MPs main shooters.
Interestingly, the chipset of S272E4 also has a less powerful CPU. Its model number is MT6765X, which is actually Hellio G36, it announced “only” two years ago. The RAM is once again 4GB, while the storage is 64GB. S272E4 also comes with 5,000 mAh batteries and Android 14.
We are not sure whether these phones are Acer products. They are potential licensed products by ODM, which is intended to earn the popularity of the Taiwanese brand. Once the devices have started on Amazon, we will know more on March 25.
