Welcome to the year 2025 and the first installment of our trending charts. As we prepare to begin the first full week of the new year, we see a phone at the top that will be several times over the next 52 weeks.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra won’t make its official debut for more than two weeks, but it’s already the most talked-about smartphone on our website.

Behind it we have one of the first smartphones to be announced in 2025 – the Redmi Turbo 4. We strongly suspect that its international version dubbed the Poco X7 Pro which will be launched on January 9 will do well at least next week.

In third and fourth we have the 2024 popularity champions – Galaxy A55 and Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro took the fifth spot ahead of the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max and its stablemate, the vanilla Redmi Note 13.

The Samsung Galaxy A16 is back at eight, while the Honor X9c is ninth in the chart. That phone has just been released for the European market, but under a different name – Magic7 Lite.

Rounding out our Week 1 chart, the final spot goes to the Redmi Note 14 Pro+. There are already some exciting announcements lined up for the next few weeks so it will be interesting to follow which ads will manage to make the top 10. Keep watching this space!
