Trendforce: Production of Samsung and Apple Pal Below Q2, Oppo, Transition and Vivo Rise – Jankari Express

The production of smartphones was pressed to an extent, but now Attitude Reports that they are more than lumps – smartphone production increased to 300 million units in the second quarter of 2025. This increases from Q1 to 4% and Q2 from last year to 4.8%.

The Apple Pal is in the same boat – it produces 46 million iPhone, which is 9% below the previous quarter. Interestingly, production has increased 4% compared to Q2 last year and Attitude With that the iPhone credits the strong demand for 16E. Then there is transition (Techno, Infinix, ITL), which also went back from a weak start of the year to 27 million units in -33% quarter-on-quarter. Finally, the production of Vivo (including the IQOs) has increased by 8%.

In total, the top 6 smartphone manufacturers in Q2 2025 were 80% of the market.
