The first big vivo has been launched for 2025 and it brought us an attractive V50 model. It is a photography oriented midrange smartphone with a thin design, an immersion screen, a impressive large battery and a triple of 50MP cameras with zees Opt pattics.
We always recommend Vivo V models for their holistic experience, but especially for their excellent photo and video quality on the Midrange budget. And Vivo V Phones follow more or less similar formulas with smaller upgrades every year. Last year, the V40 really completed the package by adding full water conservation and stereo speakers.
Now, the Vivo V50 formula is perfect. It brings a pure design with big Ura Ra Light, it is a better OV50e sensor for all three shooters plus the 50MP main camera with Zeals OPT pties. And now there is a 6,000 mAh battery with a 90W charging fast rated.
The Vivo V50 has a 6.77 inch 1080p AMOLED, which is 6.78 “AMOLED with 1260P on previous models. However, this year, this year, this year represents a new Dimind Shield Glass Protection up to 50% more drop-resistant compared to the first Scott glass of V40.

The V50 will rarely stimulate V30 and V40 owners (both 2024 models), as they offer very few upgrades. But the improved overall package will be able to compete better with the phone by other manufacturers. The only obscure move is the display downgrade – the resolution has gone from 1260p (453ppi) to 1080p (388ppi). But maybe the performance in some other aspects is better now – we will test that in detail.
