The story of Vivo will officially sell the next X200 Ultra outside China has recently turned into a fairly rollercoaster ride. We have heard that this phone will be limited in the Chinese market months ago, after a report in India yesterday said it could do it to India because Vivo is forcing the Vivo Vivo headquarters to become it.
Today X claims that the X200 Ultra will in fact not be available in India, as has been allegedly confirmed by anonymous “Vivo team member.”

Of course none of these are official, so keep that in mind – not the first rumor, not yesterday, not today. It’s all rumors and nothing more, so things can still turn differently differently.
But we would not be surprised to see Chinese smartphone manufacturers (except Ziomi’s exception in recent times) to keep their ultra flagships alone for the Chinese market, that it happens to the X200 Ultra. And of course it is a shame, because it means that most of the world does not have the option of choosing X200 Ultra or X8 Ultra on Xiaomi 15 Ultra or Galaxy S25 Ultra or iPhone 16 Pro Max.
