Vivo pushed the envelope with a design of X fold 5. It is thinner than its predecessor – 9.2 mm vs 11.2 mm when folded, 4.3 mm vs 5.2 mm when opened. That’s a big difference. The new phone is also lighter at 224 grams compared to 236 grams of old phone.

According to the camera, Vivo X Fold 5 is a little side-step for its predecessor. The main camera is a 50MP unit with a bright F/1.6 lens, but it has a 1/1.56-inch sensor (V1/1.3-inch) small. Ultravide angle has a similar size sensor but a different 15 mm f/2.1 lens; It still has a phase detect of tofocus.
The zoom camera has the same sensor for its predecessor (50 MP1/1.95-inch vs 64 mp1/2.0-inch), but zoomier 85 mm f/2.6 lens (vs 70 mm f/2.6).
Vivo has also increased the battery by 5%, now it is a 6,000 mAh unit. There is also a new custom button on the top right of the phone, which can flick on the flash between the vibration and the ring mode, and flick on the flash – nice!
