Vivo’s upcoming Y39 has reportedly been spotted on Geekbench. It managed a 912 single-core score and a 2,214 multi-core score in Geekbench 6.3.0, so clearly this won’t be a high-end device.
And indeed it seems to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, a lower-tier SoC. The phone supports 5G, and the tested prototype had 8GB of RAM. Other RAM options may be available at launch.
The Y39 will run Android 15 from day one, and may be branded as Jovi in Brazil due to a trademark dispute with Telefonica Brasil, which owns the Vivo name there.
No other specs of the Y39 are known yet. Its predecessor, the vivo Y38, was relaunched in May with the same chip, a 6.68-inch 120 Hz LCD screen, a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP selfie snapper and a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 44W wired charging.
