Oppo announced the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro in China earlier this month, and now it’s almost ready to take them to global markets as well. The company is live-streaming the global unveiling on YouTube, and you can find the stream embedded below.
The event starts on October 28 at 3pm GMT/UK time, 4pm in Germany and France, 8:30pm in India, 8am in California and 11am in New York.
European pricing for the duo surfaced last week, with the X9 reportedly starting at €999 and the Pro model going for €1,299.
In China, the Find X9 has a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 3,600-nit peak brightness, MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC at the helm, 12/16GB RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB, MP50 flash system, MP50 replacement system (with replacement). Periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom and OIS, 50 MP ultrawide with autofocus), 32 MP selfie camera and 7,025 mAh battery with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
On the other hand, Find X9 Pro has the same features with a 6.78-inch screen, 50 MP main camera and 50 MP ultrawide but 200 MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom and OIS as well as a 7,500 mAh battery. We’ll have to wait and see if these specs will go untouched in global markets – especially the battery capacity as it has generally, in recent times, fallen victim to some antiquated shipping rules in the EU. However, according to a recent report, there may be good news.
