The first phones with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite General 5 have been announced, but they are not yet available. That said, we have a prototype device on hand that we can use for the first round of the benchmark. We can’t show you it yet, but here is a glimpse of the Realm GT8 Pro Prototype:

Let’s take a closer look at the chip first. The 8-core CPU has a third-time-borne orion corona-two large and six mediums. Large cores can reach a new IGHTS in terms of clock motion, goes up to 4.61GHz. Overall, the CPU is expected to deliver a 20% influence improvement compared to previous pay generation. The new CPU is 35% more power efficient, which in turn makes the full chipset 16% more efficient. Note: Once we have a market-ready phone, we will run battery life tests.

The latest adreno GPU also promises to increase power savings (up to 20%) as well as an increase of 23% in overall performance. Adren’s high performance memory (HPM) is an 18MB dedicated memory that improves efficiency and motion.

Now for the benchmark. Instead of comparing individual devices, we have decided to take average for many large flagship chips related in 2025 and 2024 to see how the new Snapdragon 8 Elite General 5 is compared.

Starting at Antutu 10, the Snapdragon 8 Elite General 5 prototype reached the reach of 3 million points. The 20% improvement is that Qualcomm promised and 20% is that we have obtained the average of Snapdragon 8 Allight Phone that we have tested and increased by 7% smaller than the average of the diametry 9400. That Apple Pal also beats 19 Pro, although the antutu results are not a comparative cross-platform.

The next test is the 3 Demark’s Wildlife Extreme, which is concentrated on the GPU. Here again we see 20% influence on the old elite chip, which is close to the official number. Also, the chip lead looks better at dementia 9400 with 14% improvement. 9500 was recently announced, but we have not yet tested it.

Ray Tracing is a desk. Smartphone GPU is building their ray tracing acceleration hardware – according to Qualcomm’s number, General 5 is considered 25% faster than its predecessor.

And it’s a bang on the correction that we have seen in solar two tests, which are focused on ray tracing. Compared to the dementia 9400, the new Snapdragon is 16% ahead. Apple Pale also worked on hardware ray tracing support for the 19 Pro, but it needs more because the top chip of Qualcomm is a solid 27% ahead according to this test.

So far, so good. Snapdragon 8 Elite General lives on 5 expectations, at least it works in this prototype device. Adreno’s GPU is a highlight to be well-measured against Qualcomm’s chipsets and in-house CPU cores (now in their third pay generation).

There are some things we cannot test with this prototype device – e.g. Battery life and continuous performance, which depends on the hardware of each phone. Some manufacturers use steam chambers and batteries larger than others, it’s as easy as it is. Therefore, we will have to wait for the Snapdragon 8 Elite General 5 phones first to reach the Office Fiss, and then we can proceed with further tests.
