Last week we asked you what you think of the Honor Magic7 series – now the results have come and it’s not too surprising. Estimated way, the Pro model came to the top, when the affordable but less capable light model was not paid so much.
Honor Magic7 Pro has proven to be very popular in voting, but it is not perfect. Many critics say it is not upgraded from Magic6 Pro (and we have reached the same conclusion in our review). The new telephoto camera failed to wow us and the European models got a small battery for some reason. Nevertheless, to make the phone separately (like the front facial scanner).
Honor Magic7 RSR Porsche Design also attracted attention, but it is mostly the way sports cars do – people prefer to go by looking at this and they increase the company’s profile, but most will buy one of the more reasonable models from the brand. .
Honor Magic7 Lite is more mid-ranger, so it is not clearly suitable for those seeking new flagship. Chipset and 5MP ultra-wide cameras are not good, but with the rapid falling prices in some markets, the lights will find its own fans.
We have not completed, really a fourth member we need to talk about – vanilla Honor Magic 7. For any reason, Honor chose not to bring this with Pro, RSR and Lite. If they had that option, depending on the number of comments of those who had chosen it on the Pro, which could be a mistake.
The vanilla model leaves the 200MP telephoto module (instead of 50MP 68mm telefo) and a face scanner (leaving only a small punch hall for a 50MP selfie camera). But it still packs Snapdragon 8 Elite and high quality LTPO OLED display. Its design is similar to the overall Pro, although the capacity of 5,650mAh SI/C battery would probably be less if this phone would have been launched in Europe. Nevertheless, the price of the pro was one of the most common complaints against it and having a vanilla version was a great way to offer an affordable model but still flagship (unlike light).
