The lack of Google Play Services is still worrying for many, but last week’s voting shows that Huawei has not lost its waves – especially the new Pura 80 Ultra is a very desirable phone. He said, he could be out of reach of many, literally or orchologically.
The Huawei Pura 80 Ultra received a very heartfelt welcome. If Huawei was still using Google-connected Android, this year could be one of the best sales premium phones. However, it is not just Google Play Access Cess. When Huawei was US When banned by, it had to compress its global distribution network and still did not receive recoveryed.
The overplated telephoto camera was discussed – many thought that Huawei could have been clear in its marketing. Q Camera Mero provides a selection of 7.7x and 9.4x zoom, but it can no longer shot the full resolution at the central length. Large 1/1.28 “50MP sensor is perfectly useful at 7.7X, but crop 2x when in 9.4x mode, which limits the resolution to 12.5MP.
The Huawei Pura 80 Pro and Pro+ differ in more advanced satellite messaging support for the latter. And yet the whole 80 Pro+ was a clear favorite between the two – it goes to show that satellite messaging would be a more important feature. Even so, neither the pro model was not as popular as ultra, but they did.
Finally, Vanilla Huawei Pura 80 got a surprising number of votes – we are accustomed to seeing the vanilla model getting a cold shoulder (unlike Pro and Pro+, the benefit of not splitting votes).
General consideration applies to the entire 80 family. Some said applications like Gibox may act as a replacement of Google Play Services and allow you to run Google Apps (and other applications that depend on Google API).
However, if there are problems, you are on your own. It also applies to warranty – if you import 80, repair and servicing will be difficult. And finally but not the least, 5G band support is an issue in some regions.
Despite all of them said, Huawei is a good reason for being the world’s largest smartphone maker for a while. And a full 80 family phone is a good reminder.
If you are not disappointed with the lack of Google Services, mark July 10 on your calendar – it’s the date of the Huawei Met 80 series global projection. We are not sure if all four models will be available (Pro+ is a long shot). Also, we have not seen any ads in the EU – but fans of South America, Africa and Asia can wait for new camera flagships.
