WhatsApp’s ever -ending feature additions continue. The latest beta release for Android, which has come out to the WhatsApp beta test group today in the Play Store, is still a new feature.
This is a small quality of life improvement, which will make it easier to create communities. Once this is graduated from the beeta and rolls to everyone, then you can create a new community from the Chat Tab B, just by hitting the hamburger (three dots) button on the top right and then selecting the new community.
Hitting that button can also take you to the creation of a new group, on your starring messages or settings, as you can see in the screensh shot t. Regarding community creation, this add basically saves you a tap, because you no longer need to go to the communities TAB B to create a new one.
The reason for this may be the fact that the communities tab will be replaced by a new tab dedicated to AI chatbots, as it is 2025 and you can never allow you to avoid AI chatbots. So if the communities go away, this will be more than just a small improvement.
