Back in 2021, YouTube launched its premium light subscription plan every month in many European markets. It was found in the standard tire premium subscription while ignoring the access cess of background playback on YouTube music and mobile or offline falline downloads. YouTube finally retired the plan in 2023 but a new report Bloom Claims Premium Lights are soon compensating.
According to the report, YouTube Premium Light will soon be available in the US, Australia Stralia, Germany and Thailand, but with some types of materials advertising free with Xs. Bloomberg specifies that users will be able to watch all the video content on YouTube without ads except music videos. There are no specific deadline for the new premium light plan launch, and prices are not yet detailed.
