Xiaomi is a long player in the wireless earbuds market, and Buds 5 Pro is its latest flagship offering fur. As such, they bring a jam -filled set of features, including triple drivers, adaptive sound cancellation, APTX lossless streaming, dual device pair and head tracking.
We have already reviewed the Semi in-year Ziomi Buds 5, which has impressed us with its voice and rich feature set, and now we look at their pro-counter.
The visual resemblance between the two buds 5 models is amazing. The obvious difference is that with good old silicone tips, the traditional in-earray is pro-the-ear design. This addition plays a major role in fitting and sealing around your ear canal, which was a problem on regular buds 5.
As you expect, Pro Monica indicates a more capable device, which is the case here. Buds 5 Pro gives a better noise, improved Call l quality and better battery life. So, is the cost of asking more? We spent the last two weeks with Ziomi Buds 5 Pro and these are our findings.

Conduct
Our buds 5 Pro Review Unit come to Titan Gray. This colorway was also available on Buds 5, and it also has a very reflective case ID, which can be doubled as a small pocket mirror. Half of the bottom of the case has a matte finish, which works better to prevent fingerprints.
The Buds 5 Pro receives a more rectangular charging case than the squares on the vanilla variant. Although the overall steps are wider than the case on buds 5, it is still thin enough to slide comfortably from a small pocket. The buds remain upright in this case, in which the ID is working like a helmet visor.
Each earbud weighs 6.5 grams, with other 40 grams added for a combined weight of 53 grams. The buds show almost the same design of 5 pro -buds 5, with the only difference of silicone tips going into your ear. You still get the same pinch gesture pad at the bottom of each stalk, which has done enough in our test period.
Jumping on in-year screws, we are delighted to say that the buds 5 Pro delivers a great seal. They live without crying, and even after long hearing sessions, the contour of the speaker assembly on the ear coach area is easy.
The reviewer spent more than two weeks with his main function and Jim Earbuds with no complaints in terms of comfort. Bedds remain in 5 pro -positions even during runs and other fast dynamic activities without any problems. Xiaomi also maintained IP54 dust and water resistance, meaning that the buds 5 Pro can handle mild drops of sweat and rain without any difficulty.

Ziomi Buds 5 Pro brings coaxial triple drivers with 11mm dynamic drivers, additional planner driver and pzed tweeters. The buds also have a dual DAC and cover the frequency response range of 15 Hz to 50kHz, which is wider than 5 buds.
Bluetooth supports Snapdragon Sound with Buds 5 Pro Pair and APTX Lossless High-Bitrate (48 kHz/24 bit) with streaming up to 2.1 Mbps. They also get custom sound tuning from Herman’s Golden Year team. The Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro is also offering a special version of the Pro, which combines new Xiaomi phones via Wi-Fi for 96khz/24-bit lossless Audio Dio and bitates up to 4.2 Mbps. Unfortunately, our review unit offers Bluetooth-only connectivity.
To cancel the noise, the Buds 5 Pro is rated for the updated triple microphone system inside each earbud for 55 dB voice. Ziomi also claims that the buds can choose your voice in a noisy environment up to 5 Pro 100 dB, thanks to its new AI sound reduction algorithm. The buds are also announced to cancel the wind speed up to 15 m/s during the Calls Ls. The new Ziomi phones are also called HD Calling for clear sound calls.
Buds 5 Pro The standard array features found on most earbuds of this class, such as wear check sensors, dual devices pairs and Google fast pairs, all work flawlessly in our test in multiple phones and laptops.
Ziomi Earbuds Application Ziomi Kalio 5 Pro Features
Ziomy’s earbuds app is your stop shop to twist all aspects of the buds 5 Pro. You can assign a single, double and triple squeeze press on the stems as well as the press and hold the gesture. In terms of media playback, you get volume restrictions by play/pause, next/previous song as well as swipe. Ziomi has completed this squeeze control setup, though we will still choose single-tape controls instead of squeeze gestures.
The app home screen has a TG gals for adaptive sound cancellation and ambient modes while sound equalizer settings are buried under the Audio Deo Balance TG Gull.
The Buds 5 Pro also supports the Dimensional Audio Deo with head tracking, and the feature works regardless of your device’s operating petting system. We have tested it on both the iPhone 15 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro+, as well as the 14 “m B. This feature provided an immersion added for the movies, though we will still use it on a regular basis than one more game.
Like the buds 5, 5 Pro also shows the built-in Audio deo recording functionality, which means that you can use any of the buds as a dedicated voice is recorder. This has worked enough with the buds in our time, though you have to export your recordings with the Ziomi earbuds application every time. You can also use the feature to record the Calls LS, and the Buds 5 Pro will give a warning message on the other side to inform the person.
Another new addition is a modified low latency mode, which is now 50 mm when the Ziomi 14 series or new phone is now connected by Bluetooth LE.
Sound quality
While the bass was never a weak point on non-propagies 5, it is in the second league on the Buds 5 Pro. That’s not to say that we are dealing with V-shaped tuning here. Compared to most earbuds, the buds are favorable between the default lt soundstage toenatitis on 5 Pro.
It stimulates a puncture feeling, and you will definitely feel more engaged when listening to music or watching videos compared to the buds 5. Not only that, but the meads and s needings look lower and straight, without giving more power.
The default lt sound profile has already been tuned very properly, though the Ziomi earphones can bring a little more detail in a high-end series tweaking inside the app.
We also have to mention the hardware benefits of silicone ear tips, which can seal your ear canals properly. The improved seal also translates directly into the best sound quality and better sound cancellation. As expected, this argument is an area where the Buds 5 Pro has the biggest advantage over the non-project model.
Without any media playback, Pro Model Dell was able to keep low-frequency sounds on the bay without any conflict, which was not a case on buds 5. Add some tunes, and the ANC system takes care of the general torture associated with public transport and crowded gym.
There is an adjustable transparency mode, which allows you to swallow TG in between regular mode, raising noise and enhancing ambient sound modes. This setup was similar to the Redmi Buds 6 Pro and Enhans Sound Mode was the best option.
The Triple Mix on the buds 5 Pro did a great job during the Calls LS, which felt nice on my end and on the other hand people reported the clear reception of my voice. The strong wind buds together with the Boos Street voices proved to be challenging for 5 pro -pro, but they still manage a respected job in lifting my voice.
The connectivity was the stars during our review period. We have tested the 5 pro to Android, iOS and Macos, with no limit in all three and zero connectivity drops. Wear investigation sensors work as expected and significant improvement in low latency mode was given when connected with Ziomi and Redmi phones.
B Battery Terry Life
Ziomi buds 5 Pro feature within 53mAh battery, while the case has a 570 mAh battery. Ziomi claims that you can expect an 8 -hour battery life on a charge of one of the buds along with ANC, while the case extends the total plated for 40 hours.
In our test period, we got a little better results with 8 hours and 15 minutes from the buds with the ANC closed. If you turn on the ANC and prefer to stream through APTX Lossless Codec, the battery endurance takes a significant hit, and we have managed more than 6 hours.
The Buds 5 Pro also shows a fast charge feature that gives you more than 4 hours of playback with a 10 minute top-up. It takes about 70 minutes by the USB-C port in a full recharge of buds and a case of 0-100%. You can also select wireless charging on any Q wireless pad.
Judgment
Ziomi Buds 5 Pro is the best wireless earbuds from the brand to date. They offer excellent sound quality, support for high-bitrate streaming and varied features. In-year screws were great, and removed our main grip with these buds 5. Battery life is significantly better, though it is still not a class-place.
Boarded Neboard Voice Is Recorder is a great touch, and we have also enjoyed the elaborate features inside the Xiaomi Earphones app. The quality of the buds has improved significantly on buds 5 and wireless charging on the charging case is the other remaining addition.
For the Bluetooth version € 200 and Qualcomm Expan Wi-Fi for a version with Wi-Fi connectivity, Buds 5 Pro is not cheap. You can easily select for the Redmi 6 Pro, which brings almost the same features at points at a very low price.
We will choose a single-tap control gesture instead of the squeeze implementation found here but we have no other grip. If you are in the Ziomi ecosystem, then the buds 5 Pro is a simple recommendation that best brings the brand’s Audio deo ambitions.
