Maharashtra deputy CM Eknath Shinde
MUMBAI: Mumbai Police on Thursday received an email threatening to bomb Maharashtra deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde’s car, an official said.
The threat mail was sent to Goregaon and JJ Marg police stations, Mumbai DCP confirmed, adding that authorities have launched an investigation.
Security agencies are assessing the credibility of the threat, and necessary measures are being taken.
